Rohit Chandra says, Should Sachin Tendulkar become Prime-Minister of India?

Sachin Tendulkar is truly perfection personified. Look, He is not your average cricketer. Sachin has ruled the roost for almost his entire superb breathtaking career. Be Imran Khan, Allan Donald, Glen Mc Grath or the new crop of fast ballers, every one of these great bowlers would vouch for the fact that when Sachin is at the crease, he is the King of the ground and no one comes closer to that. As they say Vintage wine tastes better than new wine, yes its true Sachin is getting better with age. We thought 1998 Sharjah cup was his peak then think again he has again surpassed himself and aimed at higher peaks, may look like impossible to the rest. A magnificent 200 against South Africa in ODI and an incredible 50th test century. All of these in 2010. Wow!!!

Look at what the great Big B Amitabh Bachchan says on the ultimate perfection called Sachin Tendulkar.  He writes, “Why must there be a debate or even a discussion on whether Sachin is greater than Don Bradman or not? Sachin is greater, period! By bringing the topic up for debate you are somewhere unsure whether he really is deserving of being great or not. And this is objectionable to me.”  Yeah, making comparisons all the time is not fair to the man who put India of the sporting map of the world. He is so famous that people from non-cricketing nations easily identify him as well as has fans even there.

Look at what world chess champion Vishwanathan Anand Says on Sachin. In fact Sachin and Anand started their international career at about the same time and both have put the country on top of the world. World Chess Champion Vishwanathan Anand has recommended that Sachin Tendulkar be conferred with India’s highest award, the Bharat Ratna. With this suggestion by Anand, the debate over ‘whether Sachin deserves the Bharat Ratna’ has once again reignited in the online circles.
Sachin Tendulkar should be made the prime-minister of India? What say ya?
